This information is generated by your use of the App and relates directly to your health, fitness, and nutrition. We collect this data with your explicit consent to provide the core functionality of the Services.

  • Body Metrics: Your height, weight, gender, age, and fitness goals.

  • Workout Data: Workout names, exercise selection, sets, repetitions, weights, workout duration, and personal bests (PBs).

  • Nutrition Data: Food and meal logging entries, serving sizes, calorie and macro (Protein, Carbohydrate, Fat) intake, and recipe usage data.

C. Technical and Usage Data

When you access the App, we automatically collect data about your device and usage patterns.

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

  • Usage Information: Time and date of access, features used, pages viewed, and crash reports. We use this to improve the App's performance and stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following core purposes:

  1. To Provide and Maintain the Services: To create and manage your account, track your workouts, calculate your macro and calorie consumption, and display your progress charts.

  2. To Communicate: To send you service updates, security alerts, and support messages. We will only send promotional or marketing emails if you have explicitly opted in.

  3. Security and Fraud Prevention: To protect our users and prevent fraudulent activity.

  4. Analytics and Improvement: To analyze how our Services are used (e.g., which features are most popular) and to develop new features and content.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your Personal Information or Protected Health Information. We only share data with third parties necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, or when legally required.

A. Service Providers

We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services ("Service Providers"). They have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  • Cloud Hosting: To securely store our database (including your PII and PHI).

  • Analytics Providers: To measure usage of the Services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase).

  • Payment Processors: All payment information for Reps & Recipes Pro subscriptions is handled securely by RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card details.

B. Legal Compliance and Protection

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Reps & Recipes; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.

  • Security Measures: We implement commercially acceptable technical and organizational security measures, including encryption of data at rest and in transit (using TLS/SSL) and secure password hashing (using Argon2/Bcrypt), to protect your PII and PHI from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

  • International Transfer: Your information, including PII and PHI, may be stored and processed on servers located outside of Australia. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable privacy laws and that data remains protected by standards equivalent to this policy.

  • Opt-Out of Marketing: You can opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe link in those emails.

  • Withdraw Consent (for PHI): You may withdraw your consent for us to process your PHI at any time. However, this may prevent you from using the core functions of the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect PII or PHI from anyone under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
